As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I was captivated by the diverse menu and the inviting ambiance at Le Petit Dejeuner. Each dish I tried was not only beautifully presented but also crafted with quality ingredients that made every bite memorable. The Savory BYO Crepe, customizable with up to four omelet ingredients, stood out to me for its fresh flavors and abundance of choices. “ I can't wait to go back for the BEST WINGS, GRiTS AND MORE! PAT, Miss Trish and the staff are Great! They make each dish fresh and with love. Their approach to shared plates is unique and a creative idea. One dish is better than the next. Portions are generous and did I say delicious? Reservations only for 6 or more. Patio will be terrific when the temperature goes down. Brunch delish, and I'll see you in line for dinner. Bring your taste buds, you won't be disappointed. ”
“ We had drinks with friends and they suggested we try this place. I went by myself Sunday morning and there was a nice crowd there but not too busy. I ordered the omelet and waffles to try to sample a few things. I would definitely recommend this place, the food was fantastic. They are going to open an outside patio area as well which would be nice to sit outside on a nice day. ”
“ I am pretty hard to impress with food, but this place is absolutely DELICIOUS & exceeded my expectations. I had the potatoes, chicken sausage, croissant French Toast, omelette, & chicken wings all family style shared portions and it was perfect. Seasoned just right and made with care and exceptional chef skills. I plan to come back to try the waffles & sweet potato pancakes. And dinner as well. Everything is made fresh and from scratch with a nice selection. 10/10 food - say no more. ”
“ I had the opportunity to go to this restaurant this past week and was very satisfied with the food. I ordered the fish dinner with mac and cheese, turnip and mustard greens, all 3 items was very tasty and well seasoned. My family enjoyed there food as well. And the peach cobbler reminded me so much of how my mother use to cook hers years ago ( the buttery nutmeg and cinnamon flavor) since being in the area a few months and looking for a soul food restaurant, which are none I was very excited to hear of their grand opening I made it my business to go and try them out. Reminds me of home back East in the south ”
“ Don't know where y'all came from, but don't ever leave here! The first Soul Food restaurant that I've been to in years that left me wanting more. The portions were reasonable, as were the prices. I enjoyed the fried chicken, which was perfectly seasoned. I also had candied yams, macaroni, baked beans, and, of course, the greens. Now, I admit that I prefer a bit more ham hock in my greens, but the flavor was on point. They were not overcooked or dried out. For dessert, I had the peach cobbler, which did not come with ice cream and yet somehow was still everything that I needed. I highly recommend it. The painstaking work to prepare my meal was evident. For that is what I appreciated most. I'm certain that I will return. ”
“ OMG, I haven't had Kool-Aid in years!!! Whoever made this is my childhood hero. While I was sipping , this took me back to when my mother used to yell at us for making it SO good! ... ”
“ Tye food here is absolutely delicious!! The chicken and waffles and ribs were amazing and every side we tried was just delicious! They are very generous with the sides and the food portions as well. The service was really wonderful and we got a chance to meet the chef and the owner’s mom who were just the sweetest! I would absolutely recommend you trying this new restaurant because it really had some of the best food we’ve had out here in the desert! ”
“ Great new restaurant near PS in Cathedral City. Food was excellent and Pat was wonderful to chat with! Good, home cooked soul food! Hoping to see more fried chicken options on the menu soon. Pat’s peach cobbler is to die for!! Good luck and I think you’re going to do just fine here in the desert. ”
